At times when I walk past this blog, I wonder if there’s something I would like to share, something that is concrete and sounds intelligent, something which one can learn a bit from!

But, that’s not what i started towards for. This is not a intellectual repository or Wolfram|Alpha‘s database either. This is freedom of thoughts and experience, freedom of being Kamlesh Chandra.

So like the other two personal blogs I maintain, this too will have the freedom of thoughts.

Ahoy!

Just recently I was gifted a book by Rahul, written by Stephen Hawking, titled; The Grand Design. This is the latest of Hawking’s essays.

I always had been interested about the theory of universe, and had heard of Stephen Hawkin so many times before, while reading other essays or wathching related videos, but never really came close to knowing him or reading his essays or theories. So, one night, from one link to other, I landed on Hawking’s official website and read about him. I was surprised to learn, that contrary to my belief, Stephen Hawking, was not always wheel chair bound and once could walk, talk and lead a almost normal life. As I read more about him from his webiste, I started to know him more better and appreciate the potential humans exhibit especially when facing life challanges.

Quoting from his essay on himslef from his website, Stephen writes: “I have had motor neurone disease for practically all my adult life. Yet it has not prevented me from having a very attractive family, and being successful in my work. This is thanks to the help I have received from Jane, my children, and a large number of other people and organisations. I have been lucky, that my condition has progressed more slowly than is often the case. But it shows that one need not lose hope.”

Indeed, Stephen. Well, Happy reading to me!
